Professor (Marketing), and Director of the New Product Development Program, received his Ph.D. from the University of Mississippi. Previously, he served as Chair of the Department of Marketing & Logistics at the University of North Texas from 2001 to 2006. Prior to joining North Texas, Dr. Strutton variously served the University of Louisiana-Lafayette as Acadiana Distinguished Professor of Marketing, J.W. Steen Regents Professor of Business Administration, and Associate Dean/MBA Director for the College of Business. Dr. Strutton is coauthor what was once the world’s leading marketing channels text (Marketing Channels: A Relationship Management Approach; 2E - McGraw-Hill Irwin), and author or co-author of six other books. Dr. Strutton’s primary research interests relate to B2B relationships, marketing strategy, creativity, and new product development. Strutton has published more than 150 academic journal articles and papers in outlets such as the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Advertising Research, Journal of Macromarketing, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Business Ethics¸ Business Horizons, the Dallas Morning News, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, San Francisco Chronicle, New York Times, Redbook Magazine, and others. He has taught, lectured and consulted on every continent save Antarctica.
