Kris Torres is the Managing Director of the Accenture Dallas Advanced Technology Center and Cloud Innovation Center. At the center, Kris focuses on building lean product & extreme programming delivery practices that support creating valuable cloud-based products at speed. Prior to her role at Accenture, Kris held leadership positions at a non-profit, a regional consulting company, and a large retailer. Each role focused on building strong, diverse teams that worked closely with their internal customers to create successful products.
Kris is passionate about building diverse teams and strongly believes that every voice is needed in technology to create systems that best meet the needs of our diverse community. She strives to curate working environments that are safe for innovation and experimentation. Kris is the Board Chair for Network of Executive Women North Texas Region, the Accenture lead for the Dallas Chapter of Accent on Tech Women ERG, a club leader for Women Who Code, and a member of Alliance of Technology and Women DFW. She regularly participates in programs and conversations that strive to bring more diversity to technology.
Kris received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems (MIS) from the University of Texas at Austin.
