I am a BS/MS Accounting student, graduating with my master's degree in May 2023. I am a first-generation college student. My parents came to this country with a dream of building a better life through hard work. I have seen my parents work extremely long hours to provide for our family. Seeing this throughout my life taught me the importance of hard work and determination. Accounting is a subject I enjoy learning. I love working with numbers, analyzing, and working with people. I am also involved in accounting organizations such as the Accounting Scholars Program and the Association of Latino Professionals.
