The UNT Grad Block Party is an opportunity for the entire UNT community to come together and celebrate everything our grads have accomplished, filled with festivities including commemorative giveaways, a special gift for graduates, festival-type food, food trucks, live music, games, photo ops, Scrappy, and UNT merchandise and memorabilia. Everything wraps up with fireworks and the UNT Alma Mater at dark.
UNT graduates from the current academic year are the guests of honor, but the entire UNT community is invited to join the festivities including guests of graduates, faculty and staff, alumni and current students. Graduates should bring their tassels and UNT ID to receive a free graduation gift and to be entered into the drawings. Drawings for winners will be held every half-hour throughout the event.
Additionally, the UNT Alumni Association will be offering free, one-year memberships to all 2018-19 academic year graduates. Benefits of Alumni Association membership include alumni networking events, Mean Green tailgate fun at the Alumni Pavilion, alumni group insurance, retail discounts and more.
