Survey of Commercial Equipment Leasing & Finance

Join us for the kick-off reception of our exciting new course Survey of Commercial Equipment Leasing & Finance! The course will be available starting in Spring 2025 and offers industry recognition, certification, grant opportunities, and even the textbooks are free. It will explore the $1.5 trillion dollar equipment leasing and finance industry, a dynamic field that offers career opportunities across all disciplines and majors at the G. Brint Ryan College of Business.
- Industry Recognition: Become proficient in industry practices, products, and operations, building a foundation for success in the field.
- Certification: Upon passing the course with a score of 70 or above, you will receive the "CLFP Student Certification" from the Certified Lease and Finance Professional (CLFP) Foundation.
- Career Opportunities: Develop a working knowledge of a thriving segment of finance and banking that offers fulfilling and rewarding career paths. It is a professional, collegial, and well-compensated opportunity it provides. It offers long-term career potential, regardless of your major or area of specialization.
- Partnership with the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA): We are excited to be partnering with ELFA, which may provide additional opportunities and resources.
- $5,000 Grants: Ten $500 grants to be awarded on a project-based competition.*
