1)    How did the UNT Data Analytics program prepare you for your future career?
UNT’s Analytics program helped prepare me for my future career because it exposed me to a new level of thinking. The program refined and enhanced my ways of looking at problems businesses face and allows me to bring valuable skills to my employers.

2)    What are some things you loved most about UNT?
There are too many to name! The care, compassion, and vision of the professors and staff is what really set UNT apart. I first moved to Texas in 2019 and was looking for an accredited university that offered an exceptional program. Although I come from a tax and accounting background, I knew through past work projects that I was very interested in pursuing an MBA in Business Analytics. From the first email I sent to UNT, I was met with an overwhelming amount of support and encouragement, and I knew I found the right place for me.

3)    Describe how UNT changed your life and prepared you for the next level.
UNT provided me with not only a wonderful educational experience, but with an invaluable network of individuals. Pursuing my MBA helped take my technical skills to the next level, which I have been able to transfer over into my career.

4)    What was your favorite class and why?
I  had two favorite classes at UNT. My first is DSCI 5260 with Dr. Shamroukh. DSCI 5260 was a great mix of research, technical, and business skills. Dr. Shamroukh was fantastic at mixing in real life business and research scenarios in the course while being so encouraging and motivating to us all. My other favorite class was BUSI 5190 with Dr. Chandler. While this was my last course at UNT, I felt that this was a very well thought out capstone course. It covered so many important concepts about strategy, management, and ethics.

5)    What are some of your hobbies?
I really enjoy trying new restaurants, watching movies, playing tennis, and learning about art history.
