The Professional Leadership Program (PLP) is proud to announce the PLP Junior Advisory Board. These individuals are graduates of UNT and former students of PLP.

PLP is the flagship program of the Ryan College of Business. The PLP Junior Advisory Board will lead opportunities to connect our PLP alumni fostering relationships with PLP and to encourage PLP alumni to support the program as servant leaders and professionals. Being on the PLP Junior Advisory Board requires effort and commitment, but there is great pay-off as well—in your benefiting the next generation of PLP students and in the valuable experience you will gain as a leader in our prestigious program.
Selection Process:
The selection process to become a PLP Junior Advisory Board member begins with:
- Must be nominated by a current PLP Sr. Advisory Board member, PLP staff, or PLP mentor;
- Must submitting an application followed by an interview.
Commitment:
The ideal PLP Junior Advisory Board member will seek ways to improve the mentor-mentee relationship, has a commitment to assisting PLP and current student members, continually exudes professionalism and a willingness to serve. PLP Junior Advisory Board member commit to:
- Serving a two (2) year term with PLP, or until year of Mentor eligibility;
- Attending at least 1 Sr. Advisory Board member meeting a semester;
- Coordinating volunteer opportunities or communicating with other former PLP members;
- Serve on PLP Alumni Panel discussion during PLP Wednesday evening session as schedule allows
