FacultyStaffDepartment of FIRELOffice of the Dean As Associate Dean for Academic Programs, Dr. John Puthenpurackal oversees undergraduate, masters and doctoral programs in the Ryan College of Business. A 2002 Ph.D. Finance graduate of Texas A&M University, he has been in academia for over 20 years, serving at Ohio University, University of Nevada-Las Vegas and at the University of North Texas since 2019. He has served as department chair for 8 years. He has published in reputed finance academic journals such as Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Corporate Finance, Financial Management and Journal of Business, Finance and Accounting.
