Biography: 

Julie Anderson currently serves as Chief Financial Officer for Susser Bank and is a member of the Executive Leadership Group. Ms. Anderson is responsible for the bank’s accounting, finance, risk management, technology and information security, legal and human resources departments. 

Prior to joining Susser Bank, Ms. Anderson served as the Chief Financial Officer of Texas Capital Bank from 2013 through 2021, and CFO of Texas Capital Bancshares from 2017 through 2021. During her tenure as CFO, the company grew from just over $10 billion in total assets to over $30 billion. In this high-growth environment, she was responsible for the company’s finance organization including Accounting and Financial/Regulatory Reporting, Corporate Treasury, Corporate Finance, Investor Relations, Facilities and Strategic Supply Chain Sourcing. Additional areas of responsibility during this tenure included Corporate Communications, Technology, Operations, Service, and Data Governance.  Before serving as CFO, she was Chief Accounting Officer and Controller at Texas Capital since 1999. In this role, she oversaw corporate accounting and financial reporting from shortly after the formation of start-up Texas Capital through the IPO only 4 years after formation and on to being one of the fastest-growing mid-sized banks in the country. Earlier in her career, she served in a finance leadership role as Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning, reporting to the CFO of a specialty finance company. A certified public accountant, Ms. Anderson’s professional career started at Ernst & Young working with financial services clients primarily in the financial services industries.

She earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Accounting from the University of North Texas, and more recently completed the Corporate Director Academy in 2022. She is currently active in organizations focused on higher education and providing scholarships to worthy students, many of whom are first-generation college students, and is President of the University of North Texas Kuehne Speaker Series Board and member of the University of North Texas Ryan College of Business Dean’s Advisory Board.
