Christina
Aguilar

Biography: 

Christina Aguilar began her role as Director Student Engagement and Recruitment in February 2016. In this role she oversees all student development and recruitment efforts for the G. Brint Ryan College of Business. In August 2017, she became an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Management and coordinates the first of three required professional development courses for business students.

Prior to these roles, she served as Director of Marketing and Communications for the Ryan College of Business for seven years. She received a Master of Science in Educational Human Resource Development and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, both from Texas A&M University.

Christina has spent her entire professional career in education and has experience in student leadership development, recruitment, student retention and success, diversity education, event planning and project management. Prior to coming to UNT, she had roles in communications and public engagement with the Fort Worth Independent School District. Her passion for working with students began during her time working in Multicultural Services at Texas A&M.

Christina is dedicated to being a voice for students and advocating on their behalf. She is also committed to uplifting her community through service. She is an active member of the Beta Mu Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and was the founding Executive Director of the Raising the Standard Foundation, which enhances educational development for underprivileged and at-risk students in the Fort Worth community.
