Anna Sidorova is an Associate Dean at the G. Brint Ryan College of Business and an Associate Professor of Information Systems at the University of North Texas. As the Associate Dean, Dr. Anna Sidorova is responsible for G. Brint Ryan College of Business undergraduate programs including undergraduate curriculum planning and coordination, as well as undergraduate advising and undergraduate student services. She also oversees G. Brint Ryan College of Business corporate relations initiatives directed at maintaining strong alignment between the college’s curriculum and academics and the needs of the industry. Dr. Sidorova teaches graduate courses in Artificial Intelligence in Business, Information System Development and Information Systems Theory and Research.
During her tenure at UNT, Dr. Sidorova has engaged in active research in the areas of business intelligence and analytics, text mining, business process management, IS implementation and use, and applications of AI and machine learning in business. Dr. Sidorova authored over twenty academic and practitioner-oriented journal articles and book chapters, with research featured in prestigious academic journals such as MIS Quarterly, Journal of Management Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, Information & Management and other.
Prior to her work at UNT, Dr. Sidorova was a business consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she advised clients on issues related to business process improvement, business strategy and IT system selection. She also worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Albany, SUNY. Dr. Sidorova holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Masters of Business Administration and a Ph.D. in Information Systems from Washington State University.
