Brad Furry is an accomplished information technology leader with over 37 years of practical and leadership experience. He received his B.S. and M.A. from Texas A&M University. He is currently the CIO of the Communities Foundation of Texas, a non-profit that manages over $1.2B of assets and partners donors and grantees in our community. CFT is also responsible for managing North Texas Giving Day each year and in September of 2018 we raised over $48M in one day for our north Texas non-profits. Brad is also Principal at EPF Enterprises where he provides business / technology consulting, IT organizational development, IT assessments and project management. His prior experiences include over 28 years in Retail, but also time spent in Oil & Gas Operations, Hospital & Laboratory Systems, and Insurance. Prior to CFT and EPF Enterprises, Brad was the Senior Vice President and CIO at Zale Corporation where he was responsible for turning around the technology department and function at the $2 billion dollar jewelry retailer. Prior to Zale Corporation, Brad spent over 22 years at The Neiman Marcus Group where he was the Vice President of Enterprise Services and Vice President of Applications Development.
Outside of work, Brad has participated on the Board of Directors for the Texas A&M MIS Department, served as a Trustee for the Texas A&M Research Foundation and served on the Board of Directors for the Family Place, the Sammons Center for the Arts and Komen Dallas. In addition, Brad speaks and participates in multiple technology forums and conferences.
