Debbi began her career at UNT as a Purchasing Supervisor in Purchasing and Payment Services (PPS) in October 2003, where she supervised buyers and assisted with training other departments in purchasing guidelines. In 2004, she transferred to an Administrative Services Officer position in the Pohl Recreation Center. There she was responsible for overseeing budget expenditures and policies within the department of Recreational Sports.
Debbi joined the College of Business in 2006 as an Administrative Services Officer in the Department of Marketing and Logistics, where she had oversight of the departmental office while reporting to the chairperson. She handled all payroll documentation and reporting and personnel related areas for faculty and staff, as well as coordinating their annual awards banquet, Pcard holder/reconciler, and processing ePro requisitions and travel.
Debbi joined the Murphy Center for Entrepreneurship in October 2008 as Administrative Coordinator. She was the assistant to the Director and handled all aspects of keeping the office open and operational including daily interaction with students, faculty, staff, donors and business owners. She handled details for all the Center's events including the annual Leadership Luncheon, which highlighted entrepreneurship in front of the Dallas/Fort Worth professional community.
In the summer of 2013, Debbi joined the Office of the Dean in the College of Business. Debbi's primary responsibilities include being the Building Representative for the Business Leadership Building as well as the administrative assistant for the Business Information & Technology Services (BITS) Department where she oversees budget expenditures and other administrative policies within the department.
