Jeff Miller is a seasoned Human Resources executive with over three decades of experience driving people strategies and fostering dynamic workplace cultures. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for the Texas Rangers, where he led key initiatives in employee engagement, benefits administration, compensation, risk management, and full employee life cycle management. His leadership was instrumental in shaping a high-performing HR team and advancing the organization’s people strategy.
Prior to joining the Rangers in 2020, Jeff held senior HR roles at two major oilfield service companies in Houston and spent 19 years with Insperity, a professional employer organization specializing in outsourced HR services. He started his career at a small educational publishing company in Carrolton where he was the manager responsible for all front office operations.
Jeff grew up in Dallas, where he attended JJ Pearce High School. He graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration where he also won third place on America’s Funniest People tv show his sophomore year. Jeff and his wife Angela live in Dallas and have 4 grown children – three in the DFW area: Brian (32), Alec (28) and Abbey (23), and one son Zach (30) currently living and working in Bristol, England and transitioning to Melbourne, Australia in the spring.

Jessica Sabedra embarked on her Human Resources career in public accounting in 2010 and has since accumulated over a decade of HR experience. In 2022, she transitioned to the sports industry, joining the Dallas Mavericks' People & Culture team as a Business Partner. Her areas of expertise include: Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, and HR Compliance.
Jessica’s HR contributions have garnered significant recognition. In 2017, she received the inaugural Fort Worth HR, a SHRM chapter of greater Fort Worth, Emerging HR Professional of the Year award, underscoring her as a future leader in the field. The University of North Texas’ G. Brint Ryan College of Business honored her as a Rising Star in 2021.
Additionally, she has served on the Emerging Leader Board at the Tarrant Area Food Bank and participated in the UNT mentoring program for HR students. Currently, she is in a two-year term as co-chair of Somos Mavs, an Employee Resource Group within the Dallas Mavericks organization, dedicated to promoting Hispanic/Latino culture.
