A BBA in Accounting prepares students to become accounting professionals who can work in any industry, anywhere in the world. Our students will be technically competent in the specialized tenets of accounting, but will also learn to be independent and critical thinkers, to act responsibly and ethically, and to seek challenges that will make a difference in their careers as well as the world. Our Accounting program has been ranked one of the top 50 undergraduate accounting programs nationally (according to Public Accounting Report’s 2018 Top 50 Undergraduate Accounting Programs). Our students gain substantial knowledge of business fundamentals, including finance, economics, and data analytics, while obtaining the breadth and depth of knowledge in the field of accounting including financial accounting, managerial accounting, internal auditing, tax, and accounting systems. Our graduates pursue careers in both private and public companies, public accounting firms and government and non-profit organizations. They have strong oral and written communication and serve as leaders in their organizations assisting in making strategic business decisions.
