BBA in Marketing

BBA in Marketing prepares students to become effective marketing decision-makers in business and non-business organizations. With an excellent knowledge of business and marketing fundamentals, our graduates are equipped to synthesize marketing-related data into timely and effective business decisions. The essence of Marketing is matching supply and demand in complex local, regional, and global economies by creating effective marketing programs that satisfy customers' wants and needs. Marketing program activities include: identifying customer needs; developing and pricing need-satisfying product offerings; effectively communicating with customers; and logistics management to assure products reach customers when and where they want them.

Senior Analyst, Retention Analytics

Prior to graduating from UNT with his degree in Marketing, Karim worked as business analysis intern with Shell Oil’s Fuel Rewards Network. Subsequent to graduating, Karim has held positions with Excentus in Addison, TX and the consulting firm EY, also in the DFW area. Karim is currently an analyst with Retention Analytics based in San Francisco. His responsibilities include: customer opportunity analysis; developing and implementing strategies to reduce turnover or “churn”; leveraging qualitative data to map the competitive landscape, uncover missed opportunities, and identify unfilled customer needs; developing strategies targeted to emerging customer opportunities; and, creating and delivering comprehensive presentations to organizational decision makers.
