Erika Wasserman, Your Financial Therapist, is one of only 150 Certified Financial
Therapists in the U.S., and she's on a mission to show the next generation of financial
professionals the side of the industry business school doesn't teach enough: the human
side of money.
Erika combines real-life wisdom, a dash of humor, and a deep understanding of how emotions and behavior—not just math—drive every financial decision a client makes. As AI takes over more of the day-to-day task work in this field, the professionals who actually thrive will be the ones who know how to have the conversation a spreadsheet can't. She's the creator of the Let's Talk Finances conversation cards and author of Conversations with Your Financial Therapist (Wiley, Fall 2025).
