Beena Punatar is the CEO and Founder of Bee Defined Consulting, a professional growth and development and business advisory firm specializing in career strategy, leadership development, and organizational transformation. With more than two decades of experience in the business world, Beena has helped enable thousands of professionals to navigate pivotal career transitions, guiding them to reposition their experience, build strategic clarity, and move forward with confidence. She has also supported hundreds of individuals in launching and building their own companies, bringing both practical strategy and real-world insight to the entrepreneurial journey.

Beena has been brought into organizations during critical moments, growth, complexity, transformation, reinvention, and stabilization. She has led enterprise-level initiatives across Fortune 500 companies, global brands, and fast-growth companies spanning operations, transformation, M&A integration, CX/UX, product, compliance, HR, organizational development, technology and AI, finance, legal, and procurement. Her work includes partnering closely with executive leadership teams and private equity sponsors, as well as advising more than 10 startups over the past five years, helping organizations move from ambiguity to clarity and from structure to scale.

Through Bee Defined Consulting, she has supported global organizations and some of the largest private equity firms, working alongside partners such as Heidrick & Struggles and Korn Ferry in both advisory and execution capacities.

In addition to her enterprise and advisory work, Beena serves as a recruiter and hiring manager and is a transformational career, professional development, and executive coach, having supported hundreds of senior leaders and high-potential professionals across industries. Her coaching focuses on leadership evolution, career transitions, and building the internal capability required to lead effectively in today’s dynamic environments. She has earned national recognition for being a top career coach and resume writer.

Her passion extends to developing the next generation of leaders. As an Adjunct Professor at the University of North Texas, Beena brings real-world experience into the classroom, helping students connect academic learning to practical work application while building the skills, mindset, and confidence needed to navigate their careers. She actively bridges the gap between the classroom and today’s evolving workforce, exposing students to ongoing workforce transformations and expanding their view of career pathways beyond traditional corporate roles.

She holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a BS from The Ohio State University. Beena is a member of Delta Mu Delta - International Honor Society in Business Administration and the Society of Leadership and Success both from University of Phoenix. She is PMP and Six Sigma Certified and is a Certified Career Coach.
