Brian Hirsch

Dr. Brian Hirsch is currently Senior Assistant Director with the Career Center for the G Brint Ryan College of Business at the University of North Texas. With nearly 30 years of experience in higher education and private industry, Dr. Hirsch has led two comprehensive university career centers and worked extensively with students, faculty, and employers to facilitate students' career progress and enhance recruitment across 4 campuses.

In his current role, Dr. Hirsch manages the operations and staff for the Wilson Jones Career Center in the G. Brint Ryan College of Business at the University of North Texas. The Wilson Jones Career Center provides comprehensive career and professional development to over nine thousand students. Dr. Hirsch collaborates closely with faculty in the Ryan College of Business and leads employer relations and development for recruiters of students and graduates of the College, along with the UNT Career Center staff. Dr. Hirsch also serves on the leadership team for the UNT Career Center.

Dr. Hirsch has extensive involvement with student affairs, including leadership development, Greek Life, Student Activities, Student Retention, and Drug Education and Prevention. His responsibilities have included managing staff, managing budgets, overseeing experiential learning, managing employer and recruiter relations, and program planning and student development. Before working in higher education, Dr. Hirsch worked in professional sales in the pharmaceutical industry.
