Chris Peavy

Chris Peavy earned her BBA in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Management from the University of North Texas (UNT) in 2013 and her MS in Learning Technologies through UNT’s Accelerated Online Program in 2016. She is also a member of the Texas Eta Chapter of the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society.

Chris has been part of the UNT community since 2009, serving in a variety of roles. She previously held positions in Human Resources with the UNT Health Science Center (UNTHSC) and the Business Service Center (BSC), as well as serving as Grants and Travel Coordinator in the Department of Mathematics.

As Director of College of Business Programs, Chris oversees student case competitions, coordinates student travel, and manages scholarship distribution for the Department of Supply Chain Management. In May 2016, she became Associate Director for the Center for Logistics and Supply Chain Management, where she supports research initiatives, manages industry relations, and advances student and faculty engagement with the logistics community. In August 2025, she expanded her role to include serving as an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Supply Chain Management, where she leads the required internship courses for students pursuing majors in Supply Chain Management with concentrations in Logistics, Aviation Logistics, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or Purchasing.

Outside of work, Chris and her husband enjoy traveling and camping. Her hobbies include crochet and tabletop role-playing games. She is a proud mother of four and grandmother of three.
