Jennifer DuPlessis

Dr. DuPlessis is an accomplished researcher and practitioner specializing in human resource development, organizational behavior, and strategic management. She teaches courses on Organizational Behavior at UNT. Her research focuses on managerial coaching and job engagement, which earned her the 2021 Dissertation of the Year award from the Academy of Human Resource Development and several publications.

Dr. Jennifer DuPlessis holds a PhD in Human Resource Development from the University of Texas at Tyler, and an MBA in Strategic Management and a BBA in Marketing Research from UNT. Beyond the classroom, she has served as a Chief Human Resources Officer, a Chief Financial Officer, and a Chief Operations Officer in education. She is an active contributor to her field and a frequent invited lecturer and holds leadership positions in several professional organizations, including the Texas Association of School Business Officials and Association 4 Learning Environments.
