Jolanda Prozzi

Jolanda has 30 years of professional and research experience in freight planning and policy analysis, transportation planning, transportation economics, and environmental planning. Before joining the University of North Texas, Jolanda was the Transportation Planning Market Leader at Jacobs. Prior to joining Jacobs, Jolanda was the Division Head of the Texas A&M Transportation Institute’s (TTI) Multimodal Planning and Environment Division and the manager of the Environment and Planning Program, where she was responsible for leading a Division of 50 researchers and managing a program of 14 researchers that were focused on identifying and conducting research of state and national significance. Jolanda was the Freight Area Lead for TTI’s legislatively funded Policy Research Center. Since coming to Texas in 2001, Jolanda has been collaborating on and managing more than 100 research projects and studies. Her sponsors and clients include the Texas Department of Transportation, the Texas Legislature, the Federal Highway Administration, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, the Environmental Defense Fund, and local planning agencies, such as the Houston-Galveston Area Council. She regularly develops testimony and presentations on policy/planning issues and has made numerous presentations on her work in professional and academic settings.
