Kendall Carlson

Kendall Carlson, IOM is the Director of Advancement Communications for the G. Brint Ryan College of Business, where she leads communication efforts that highlight the college’s impact, faculty research, student success and philanthropic initiatives. She is a marketing and communications professional with experience in higher education, non-profit, organization management, and economic development.

Prior to joining UNT, she served as Director of Marketing and Communications for the Denton Chamber of Commerce and Denton Economic Development Partnership, where she helped promote business growth, economic growth, and community engagement across the City of Denton and wider county region. With deep roots in the Denton business community, Kendall is able to establish connections between faculty/students and local business leaders.

Earlier in her career, she worked in marketing roles for DFW non-profit and professional associations. She earned her degree in public relations from the University of North Texas, and received her IOM credential from the Institute for Organization Management in 2025.
