Kinshuk Sharma

Kinshuk Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management. He joined the G. Brint Ryan College of Business, University of North Texas in the Summer of 2024. Prior to that, Kinshuk was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Ivey Business School, Western University, Canada (2022-2023) and Daniels School of Business, Purdue University (2023-2024). Kinshuk earned his Ph.D. from Daniels School of Business, Purdue University in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources.

Kinshuk Sharma's research interests include trust and trust repair, vulnerability, social capital, and impact. His research has been published in premier journals such as Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, and Journal of Management. Moreover, his recent paper in the Journal of Business and Psychology received the 2025 ‘Editor Commendation’ recognition, an honor provided to only 16 articles from over 1900 articles submitted to the journal in 2025.

Outside academics, Kinshuk Sharma enjoys playing all racket sports, writing songs, poetry, stories, and novels, and watching movies. He is a former Division-1 Tennis Player (at University of North Carolina – Wilmington [2008-2011]) and still holds multiple varsity all-time Men’s Tennis records, including total career wins and total career singles wins. He has also been a Juniors national champion and has represented his home country, India, in the Junior Davis Cup (2005).
