Nikki Drader

Nikki is a second-year doctoral student, and teaching and research assistant in the Department of Management. Her research focuses on the study of marginalized groups, with an emphasis on workplace neurodiversity. The majority of her work examines pre-employment, career management, and well-being of neurodiverse individuals in historically neurotypical workplaces. She is also interested in emerging research and methodologies related to universal design theory and the neuroscience of work. These interests stem from her undergraduate studies in nutritional science and biochemistry, professional experience managing neurodiverse employees, and personal challenges with a low-vision disability that inspire her to conduct research that benefits those who live in a world that wasn’t designed for them.
