Sally Carne

Sally Carne, M.Ed., is a policy governance, risk management, and financial services professional with broad experience in higher education and the risk management industry. She currently serves as the Policy Administrator for the University of North Texas System, where she works closely with legal counsel and campus partners to guide system‑wide policy development, review, and compliance.

Sally teaches FIPL 2770, Personal Finance, in the G. Brint Ryan College of Business as an Adjunct Professor. In the classroom, she enjoys sharing practical knowledge in financial planning, budgeting, credit, investing, and risk management to help students build real‑world confidence.

Before stepping into her current role, Sally managed UNT’s International Risk Management Program and served as the Program Coordinator for the UNT Risk Management & Insurance academic program. She holds a BBA in Risk Management and Insurance and an M.Ed. in Higher Education, both from UNT.
