Dr. Sourav Chatterjee is a Clinical Associate Professor of Analytics and Assistant Chair of the Information Technology and Decision Sciences department at the G. Brint Ryan College of Business. He holds a PhD from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida, specializing in econometrics and industrial organization.
Before joining academia, Dr. Chatterjee built a strong record in quantitative consulting, delivering advanced statistical and econometric analyses for Fortune 500 companies and other major clients across the airline, financial services, health care, pharmaceutical, retail, and technology sectors. He also advised clients internationally across the US, Asia, and Africa on litigation and antitrust matters.
At the University of North Texas, Dr. Chatterjee leverages this industry experience to enrich teaching, research, and program leadership. His scholarly interests include statistical and machine learning, behavioral incentives, and the role of artificial intelligence in educational environments.
