BBA in Economics

BBA in Economics helps students develop a clear understanding of how to apply economic theory to real-world business and policy issues. Along the way, a student will learn a marketable, transferable skill set that makes them a valuable asset to any company. We administer a rigorous curriculum with a unique perspective on economics through shared resources between the Department of Finance, Insurance, Real Estate and Law, and the Department of Economics. We offer scholarships and opportunities to work in our Help Center to qualified students. And our job placement specialist and alumni network have been successful in finding jobs for our students.

Dr. Ian McCarthy, BBA Economics '04

Ian McCarthyAssociate Professor,
Emory University

"My time at UNT instilled a passion for economics and econometrics, allowing me to view economics as a means to understand the world. Pursuing economics by way of a BBA further prepared me for a variety of accounting, financial, and managerial issues I would later encounter both in my capacity as a consultant and now as a professor."
