BBA in Economics helps students develop a clear understanding of how to apply economic theory to real-world business and policy issues. Along the way, a student will learn a marketable, transferable skill set that makes them a valuable asset to any company. We administer a rigorous curriculum with a unique perspective on economics through shared resources between the Department of Finance, Insurance, Real Estate and Law, and the Department of Economics. "My time at UNT instilled a passion for economics and econometrics, allowing me to view economics as a means to understand the world. Pursuing economics by way of a BBA further prepared me for a variety of accounting, financial, and managerial issues I would later encounter both in my capacity as a consultant and now as a professor."
