Rebekah Beard

Rebekah BeardHi, my name is Rebekah Beard, and I’m a junior at the University of North Texas pursuing a BS/MS in Accounting. As the first person in my family to pursue accountancy, I cherish the hard work ethic my family has instilled in me and their unwavering support. Throughout school, I strive to help my peers grow into well-rounded professionals and transfer my passion for uplifting others into the workplace. For summer 2023, I’ve had the opportunity to intern with Ernst and Young and learn about their values, mission, and opportunities within a Big Four firm. My internship experience has taught me new skills like technical accounting while strengthening others, such as utilizing software systems and applying concepts learned from class. In the near future, I plan on specializing in audit and completing the CPA exam while trying to find a great company to work with that aligns with my values.

Reece Domingue

Reece DomingueGrowing up, my hero was Alex P. Keaton from the 1980’s sitcom Family Ties. I loved money and math, and it was no surprise to anyone who knew me that I chose to study accounting at UNT through the Accounting Scholars Program. ASP has provided me with great opportunities and continues to prepare me for a career in tax accounting.

When I am not studying, I am dancing. I enrolled in my first dance class at age 2 and have performed in The Nutcracker for 15 years. I served as captain of my drill team in high school and completed Vaganova ballet training at Denton Ballet Academy, which is where I currently teach. In addition, I co-founded Studio D, which focuses on mentorship and choreography for young, competition dancers.

You can always find me juggling multiple jobs and activities, as I thrive on staying busy. During semester breaks, I also work in the office of Pros PM, a property management company, and I am especially excited to do my accounting internship at KHA. I am looking forward to a career in accounting after graduating in 2025 with my integrated B.S./M.S. degree in taxation.
