The Center for Energy Accounting and Sustainability (CEAS) is pleased to announce the COPAS/PDI John Jolly Scholarship, established to encourage graduate students to pursue careers in oil and gas accounting and taxation.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be currently enrolled as a graduate student at the University of North Texas.
  • Be enrolled in ACCT 5340 – Oil & Gas Taxation during Fall 2026.
  • Express an interest in pursuing a career in Oil & Gas Accounting or Taxation.
Application

Submit a one-page Statement of Interest describing:

  • Your interest in Oil & Gas Accounting or
  • Your career
  • How receiving the John Jolly Scholarship will support your professional aspirations.
Selection

The Accounting Department Scholarship Committee will review all eligible applications and select the scholarship recipients.

Selected recipients will be required to sign the University Scholarship Offer Letter and submit a thank-you letter to the scholarship sponsors.
