How to Apply

Apply online:

Apply online with the UNT GradCAS Application. The DBA program admits for fall semesters only.
Submit application materials inside the application portal.

- Graduate Admissions requires transcripts from all schools attended. Request transcripts within your GradCAS application. UNT Alumni are not required to submit transcripts except for institutions attended after leaving UNT.
- Upload your resume or cv and statement of purpose.
- Provide contact information for three recommenders to submit letters of recommendation or evaluation forms via our system.

Pay the application fee.

- Submit the $75 non-refundable payment* for the application which will prompt our Graduate Admissions to begin the evaluation process.

After all materials have been submitted and transcripts have been evaluated by Graduate Admissions, the DBA Program Office will reach out to each applicant to schedule an interview with the DBA Program Committee.

Selection Process

Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee comprising of faculty and the director of the DBA program. The admission decision will be based on a holistic review of several aspects of the application. Some of these include:

Managerial/executive experience
Capacity for conducting applied scholarship
Compatibility of professional goals with the objectives of the DBA program
Motivation and commitment
Master's degree and previous coursework
Written and verbal communication skills
Research area/interests
