As artificial intelligence becomes more embedded in intermodal operations, analytics are evolving from static dashboards into a critical driver of action, prediction, and decision support. In this next session of IANA’s Four Pillars of AI for Intermodal webinar series, we take a practical and candid look at AI for Analytics and how it is reshaping the way operators move from insight to impact.
This conversation will explore how AI powered analytics can help forecast demand, identify operational risk, and surface insights that go beyond reporting what happened to informing what should happen next. Rather than treating analytics as the final destination, the discussion will focus on how analytics fit into a broader closed loop system that connects data, prediction, and action across intermodal operations.
Through real world perspectives, the session will examine where analytics succeed, where they fall short, and why trust, verification, and governance matter as AI takes on a larger role in decision making. Attendees will also be invited to participate in interactive polls and discussion that highlight how the industry is thinking about AI driven analytics today and where confidence and skepticism still exist.
