RCOB Undergraduate Advising is currently offering a combination of pre-scheduled advising appointments (virtual and in-person) and same day appointments (virtual and in-person). An on-call advisor is also available during office hours for quick questions that do not require a full advising appointment.
UNT Holiday Closures
- Fall Break: CLOSED November 26th at 12 PM – November 28th
- Winter Break: CLOSED December 23th at 12 PM
Scheduled Appointments are released for scheduling 21 days in advance.
Scheduled Appointments are offered both virtually via Zoom AND in-person (BLB 110). Be aware of the location for the appointment you are scheduling, as we cannot change an in-person appointment to virtual or virtual to in-person.

Same Day Appointments offer the same full advising services as pre-scheduled advising appointments, the difference is when and how you can sign-up for an appointment. Same Day Appointments are released for scheduling at 8:15AM for 8:30-11:00AM appointments on that same day, and released at 11:40AM for 1:00-4:00PM appointments on that same day.

An On Call Advisor is available each day to help with quick clarifying questions—no appointment needed! This service is not a full advising appointment and is NOT appropriate for removing advising required holds (if you have not been advised), upper-level course clearance, filing a degree plan application, or full semester course planning.

UNT at Frisco Advising
Students at the UNT Frisco Campus can schedule both virtual and in-person advising appointments. However, please note that in-person appointments are currently offered only on the main campus in Denton.
To schedule a virtual appointment with an advisor:
- Log in to Navigate.
- Select your major as the Service Type, or choose "Exploring RCOB Majors" if applicable.
- Choose "Online" as the Meeting Type if you'd like a virtual appointment and prefer not to travel to the Denton campus.

Graduation Checks
If you are planning to graduate in Fall 2025 or if you are a BS Accounting student transitioning to the MS program, you may request a graduation check virtually. No appointment needed! Fill out the form linked below and an advisor will send the completed grad check to your UNT email account.
