Welcome Reception for UNT's 2024 Risk Manager on Campus
FREE for all students, all majors welcome. Must register, space is limited.

About Catrina Gilbert:
Catrina serves as the Vice President of Risk Management for Dallas Fort Worth International
Airport. She leads the planning and the execution of enterprise-wide Risk Management
programs that affect DFW’s Strategic Plan. Catrina is responsible for the implementation
of a consistent framework for addressing risks, designing interventions and transfers
of risk, managing insurance programs, overseeing the Airport’s Rolling Owner Controlled
Insurance Program (ROCIP) for capital development projects, and implementing safety
programs focused on prevention. She manages the risk-related emergency response and
business continuity plans and collaborates with stakeholder departments to design
and implement customized programs. Catrina also leads the DFW’s Americans with Disabilities
Act (ADA) program, employee safety strategy as well as the leave administration program
which encompasses Family Medical and Leave Act (FMLA) Short Term Disability (STD)
Long Term Disability (LTD), Reasonable Accommodation and Modified Duty.
Catrina is an active member of several industry organizations, including Airports Council International (ACI), serving as the Risk Management Committee Chair, DFW RIMS Board of Directors – Education Committee Chair and the National African American Insurance (NAAIA) Foundation Board. She is a certified International Airport Professional (IAP) and Airport Executive Leadership Program (AELP) graduate. At DFW she is a proud member of AACTION and WIN ERGs while serving as an ally for all.

Free for all students, but priority given to GIS and RMI program students. Must register.
Time: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Location: DFW HQ
Additional Information: Students are welcome to drive their own vehicles, but transportation is available
(slots are limited).
9:00 AM - Transportation leaves UNT
10:00 AM - Meet at DFW HQ
10:15 AM - Briefing from DFW Senior Leadership
11:00 AM - Board the DFW Shuttle for the Airport Tour
12:00 PM - Tour ends back at DFW HQ, lunch
1:00 PM - Students board transportation back to UNT
2:00 PM - Transportation arrives at UNT
