The Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars Program is collaborating with 25 colleges and universities across the US to promote a more equitable future in the CPA profession. Together, these schools and the Deloitte Foundation are providing a limited number of full scholarships (100% of tuition and academic fees will be covered excluding books and living expenses) for selected students interested in pursuing a fifth-year Master of Science degree in Accounting-Audit & Data Analytics or a Master of Science degree in Taxation & Data Analytics beginning between May 2025 and January 2026.
In the spirit of supporting applicants who are first-generation or economically underprivileged, applicants shall demonstrate a knowledge and appreciation for the challenges faced by members of such demographic groups in the field of public accountancy. This scholarship program can help students meet the 150-credit hour requirement for CPA eligibility.
Interested students who meet the Program’s eligibility criteria below are encouraged to apply to the Master of Science in Accounting-Audit & Data Analytics program or Master of Science in Taxation & Data Analytics program at the University of North Texas beginning between May 2025 and January 2026 following the University's standard criteria and processes for admission, and then apply separately to be considered for the Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars Program at the link below by February 1, 2025.
The Program scholarship recipient selection process shall be developed, coordinated, and led by the University of North Texas. The University shall consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, or other status prohibited or disfavored by law.
