Several students have asked about internships working for a company. Typically, three hours of course credit are available for a qualifying intern program. These three hours can be used as one of your supporting professional field courses. Each major has a professor who supervises internships.
FIREL majors should follow the INTERNSHIP APPROVAL PROCEDURES FOR GRADUATE AND UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS to obtain internship approval.
Contact the appropriate internship advisor for general information or additional questions.
