Dr. Saad Bani Hani, from the Department of Supply Chain Management, has accepted a position as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Miami University. Dr. Bani Hani’s dissertation was titled "Understanding the Significance of Patient Empowerment in Health Care Services and Delivery." Major Professors: Dr. Brian Sauser and Dr. Suman Niranjan.

Dr. Brian Hiatt, from the Department of Supply Chain Management. Dr. Hiatt’s dissertation was titled "An Empirical Investigation of the Medical Supply Chain and its Impact on Human Organ Transplantation." Major Professor: Dr. Seock Hong.

Dr. Hojoong Kim, from the Department of Accounting, has accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at Christian Brothers University. Dr. Kim’s dissertation was titled “The effect of the restructuring of peer firms on investment." Major Professors: Dr. Lili Sun and Dr. Michael Neel.

Dr. Himali Patil, from the Department of Supply Chain Management, has accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at Texas Tech University. Dr. Patil’s dissertation was titled "Role of Additive Manufacturing in restructuring supply chains.” Major Professors: Dr. Suman Niranjan and Dr. Arunachalam Narayanan.

Spring 2024

Dr. Logan Pant, from the Department of Marketing, has accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at the University of Evansville. Dr. Pant’s dissertation was titled"The Gritty Consumer: The Influence of Grit on Consumer Behavior." Major Professor: Dr. Blair Kidwell.

Dr. Zachary Plunk, from the Department of Marketing, has accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at Texas Lutheran University. Dr. Plunk’s dissertation was titled "Music to My Ears: The Influence of Music Genres on Consumer Behavior.”Major Professor: Dr. Blair Kidwell.

Summer 2024

Dr. Yu Cao, from the Department of Accounting, has accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at South Carolina Aiken. Dr. Cao’s dissertation was titled "Do Auditors Respond to Information Disorder on Social Media? Evidence from M&A Rumors." Major Professor: Dr. Lili Sun.

Dr. Sanjeev Chandwani, from the Department of Accounting, has accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at Western Michigan University. Dr. Chandwani’s dissertation was titled “Navigating the Manager-AI divide: Is it all about the consequences?" Major Professor: Dr. Govind Iyer.

Dr. Yachen Cui, from the Department of Finance, Insurance, Real Estate, and Law, has accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at Loras College. Dr. Cui’s dissertation was titled “PROFITABILITY PREMIUM PUZZLE AND INVESTORS’ BEHAVIORAL MISTAKES." Major Professor: Dr.Yi Liu.

Dr. Vipul Garg, from the Department of Supply Chain Management, has accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University-San Antonio. Dr. Garg’s dissertation was titled "Drones in Last-Mile Delivery: Multifaceted Insights from Stakeholders." Major Professor: Dr. Sum Niranjan.

Dr. Adeela Gulzari, from the Department of Information Technology and Decision Sciences has accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at Texas Woman’s University. Dr. Gulzari’s dissertation was titled "Examining data-driven demand models using text-mining and analytical approaches.” Major Professor: Dr. Robert Pavur.

Dr. Yavuz Idug, from the Department of Supply Chain Management, has accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at California Stae University-Long Beach. Dr. Idug’s dissertation was titled "Understanding the Behavioral Aspects Impacting Service Providers and Consumers in Sharing Economy.” Major Professor: Dr. Seock J. Hong.

Dr. Hossein Mohit, from the Department of Information Technology and Decision Sciences has accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at Kennesaw State University. Dr. Mohit’s dissertation was titled "Three Essays on Cryptocurrency and Blockchain: The Perspective of Influencer Movement Effect, Exchange Security and Regulation.” Major Professor: Dr. Vess Johnson.

Dr. Rishabh Rana, from the Department of Supply Chain Management, has accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at Jackson State University. Dr. Rana’s dissertation was titled "Navigating the Complexities of Supply Chain Management with Systems Thinking: A Comprehensive Review, Comparative Analysis, and Holistic Approach." Dr. Smriti Srivastava, from the Department of Information Technology and Decision Sciences has accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at Western Michigan University. Dr. Srivastava’s dissertation was titled "Social Engineering Attacks and Online Sex Trafficking.” Major Professor: Dr. Gurpreet Dhillon.
