Dr. Omar Alyasein, from the Department of Supply ChainManagement, has accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Dr. Alyasein’sdissertation was titled "The Role of Supply Chain Digitalization in Managing Change During Disruptive Events in B2B Relationships." Major Professor: Dr. Divesh Ojha.
Dr. Ferhat Caliskan, from the Department of Supply Chain Management, has accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at the University of Central Oklahoma. Dr. Caliskan’s dissertation was titled "Fostering Trust and Transparency: Exploring Blockchain Solutions for Buyer-Supplier Relationships in The Platform Economy." Major Professor: Dr. Seock-Jin Hong.
Dr. Heshan Dong, from the Department of Marketing, has accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at Permian Basin. Dr. Dong’s dissertation was titled "An empirical investigation of consumers’ product abuse of firm offerings: Three essays." Major Professor: Dr. Charles Blankson.
Dr. Md Enayet Hossain, from the Department of Accounting,has accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at Central Connecticut State University. Dr. Hossain’s dissertation was titled "Media Bias and Selective Quotations from Corporate Earnings Announcements." Major Professor: Dr. Richard Cazier.
Dr. Md Nazmul Islam, from the Department of Accounting, has accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at the State University of New York at Geneseo. Dr. Islam’s dissertation was titled "Social Ties and Critical Audit Matters." Major Professors: Drs. Lili Sun and Pradeep Sapkota.
Dr. Umesh Jaiswal, from the Department of Finance, Insurance, Real Estate, and Law,has accepted a position as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Permian Basin.Dr. Jaiswal’s dissertation was titled "Implied Cost of Capital as an Improved Measure of Equity Premium: A Deep Learning Approach."
