James E. Skinner ("Jim") is executive vice president, chief operating officer and chief financial officer of Neiman Marcus Group LTD, LLC.. His responsibilities include strategy, business development, finance, accounting, legal, real estate and construction, and logistics and distribution. He has been with the NMG since 2001. In 2005, Mr. Skinner led the NMG team in the LBO of NMG to TPG and Warburg Pincus. In 2012, Mr. Skinner led the team that sourced and negotiated the first international investment by NMG, the investment in Glamour Sales Holding. Glamour Sales operates ecommerce sites in China and Japan and is headquartered in Shanghai. In 2013, Jim led the team in the $6.2 billion "private equity to private equity" sale of NMG to Ares Management & CPPIB.

Neiman Marcus Group LTD, LLC. operations include the Specialty Retail Stores segment and the On-line segment. The Specialty Retail Stores segment consists primarily of Neiman Marcus, Last Call and Bergdorf Goodman stores. The On-line segment conducts direct to consumer operations under the Neiman Marcus, Horchow, and Last Call and Bergdorf Goodman brand names. From 1991 to 2000, Mr. Skinner was with CompUSA Inc. in several positions, including executive vice president and chief financial officer. He joined CompUSA shortly before the initial public offering (Revenues of $300 million) and left after the sale of the company in 2000 (Revenues of $6 Billion).

Mr. Skinner started his career with Ernst & Young, an international professional services firm, where he served for sixteen years with the last four years as a partner. Mr. Skinner serves clients from startups to Fortune 500 companies.

Mr. Skinner has served on the board of directors of Fossil Inc. since 2007 and is chairman of the finance committee and a member of the audit committee.

Mr. Skinner is a CPA and a graduate of Texas Tech University.

Mr. Skinner is married and has three married daughters and four grandchildren.
