Texas Capital Bank – Plano, President 1999 to Present

Texas Capital Bank – I started with Texas Capital as President - Plano about 30 days after we raised our initial capital. At the time, we were the largest capitalization of a new bank in the history of the United States. Since that time we have grown to be one of the larger independent banks in Texas with assets of approximately $18 Billion and trading on NASDAQ as TCBI. My responsibility is primarily the Collin County/North Dallas market for a broad spectrum of banking customers.

North Dallas Area Manager, Bank One, 1981 to 1999

Bank One - I started with a small independent bank in Plano as a Vice President in 1981. The bank was purchased by another bank and then merged twice more. We were American National Bank, Deposit Guaranty Bank, Team Bank, and finally Bank One. I was fortunate enough to be able to navigate my way through all of these changes and mergers, receiving promotions and working in Plano the entire time, taking care of my clients providing banking services.

I worked as a teller in a bank in high school and during my time at UNT. I also worked at two small banks in Lake Dallas and Arlington prior to moving to Plano in 1981.
