PETROLEUM ACCOUNTING AND FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT JOURNAL

The Petroleum Accounting and Financial Management Journal ceased publication at the end of its 36th year with the Fall/Winter 2017 (Volume 36, Number 3) issue. It is with regret that after 36 years, the decision was made to discontinue the journal due to declining subscriptions and rising costs. The Journal was published three times per year, and targeted a readership of petroleum and financial professionals at the mid- to high-management levels.

As the petroleum industry over the years evolved by necessity as a global industry, the Journal redirected it’s focus with increased coverage of international issues and a larger number of international contributors among its authors. The Journal endeavored to balance the coverage of both international and domestic issues confronting the oil and gas industry, as well as an appropriate mix of articles from both academic and industry professionals.

Traditionally, we published an updated cumulative topical index in each spring issue. We published a final cumulative Topical Index in the Fall/Winter 2017 issue. This is a valuable tool for anyone who wishes to order reprints of articles from past issues.
