Biography: 

Judy received her MBA from Texas Woman's University in 2010 and a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences from University of North Texas in 2004. During her undergraduate studies, she earned 2 mediation certificates, Basic Mediation and Family Mediation.

She worked at a local refrigeration company for 9 years prior to joining UNT in July, 2000 in the Recreational Sports Office. She moved to CoB Dean’s Office and worked for three Deans, Drs. Jared Hazelton, Mary Thibodaux and Kathleen Cooper, and worked in the CoB Graduate Programs Office and CoB Ph.D. and Research Offices. She moved onto the UNT-International’s Main Office and due to a division restructure worked in International Admissions. She spent 4 years in the Sub-Antarctic Biocultural Conservation Program (SBCP) housed in the College of A&S.  

Judy enjoys traveling both domestically and internationally. She has traveled to more than 1/2 the states in the U.S. and visited the following countries of Bosnia, Canada, Croatia, England, France, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Nicaragua, Portugal, Slovenia, and Spain. She is an avid reader of mysteries and suspense novels, and enjoys making beaded jewelry.
