Seock-JinHong
Dr. Seock-Jin Hong is an Associate Professor in the Logistics and Operations Management Department. He joined the UNT faculty 2015 to help grow the Aviation Logistics degree program. Before joining UNT, Dr. Hong was a Professor at Kedge Business School in Bordeaux, France, and was an Associate Professor at Incheon National University, Korea. Dr. Hong was a Research Associate at the air transport department of the Korea Transport Institute and an Assistant General Manager at Korean Airlines in Seoul. Dr. Hong has a Ph.D. degree from the University of Toulouse Capitol, France, and a Master's degree in Transport Economics from Ecole National des Ponts et Chausées in Paris, France. His research interests include air cargo and airport operation and management, aviation safety, and supply chain management. His papers have appeared in various journals such as the International Journal of Production Economics, Transport Policy, Journal of Air Transport Management, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, The International Journal of Logistics Management, etc. He is a referee for the International Journal of Production Economics, Transportation Research Part A: Policy and Practice, Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation, Journal of Air Transport Management, etc.
