Biography: 

Lisa McLuckie Thain is an assistant professor of accounting in the G. Brint Ryan College of Business. Dr. McLuckie earned her Ph.D. in Management with an Accounting Emphasis from the University of Arizona’s School of Accountancy. She holds a B.A. in accountancy from Illinois Wesleyan University. Prior to the PhD program, she worked in public accounting performing both audit and tax services for clients in highly regulated industries - banking, insurance, and gaming. She moved into internal audit for a large, publicly traded insurance company before moving into project accounting at a start-up renewable energy company.

Dr. McLuckie’s teaching experience is diverse and includes courses in managerial accounting, tax accounting, and an accounting honors research seminar.
