KathyNichols
Kathy Nichols started working for UNT as a receptionist in the College of Arts and Sciences undergraduate advising office in the Spring of 1997. She moved up to office manager in just a few short months and worked there for a couple of years. After leaving UNT in 1999, she worked as an Administrative Assistant for a local church before coming back to UNT in 2007. Since returning to UNT, Mrs. Nichols worked in the Faculty Senate office for four years before joining the Department of Accounting as Administrative Coordinator in June of 2011.
Mrs. Nichols serves as the assistant to the chair, Dr. Ananth Seetharaman, and processes scholarships, curriculum changes, helps with scheduling, hires adjuncts, organizes faculty and advisory board meetings, plans special events for the department, aids with the budget and maintains alumni records. She also participates in the College of Business Mentor program and enjoys meeting with the students and helping them learn their way around a college campus.
When Mrs. Nichols is not working she enjoys, sewing, photography, and hanging out with her family and friends.
