Biography: 

Vipul Garg is a final-year Ph.D. candidate majoring in Logistics at G. Brint Ryan College of Business at the University of North Texas. He has an MS in Data Science and a BS in Computer Science. He spent three years as a data scientist and product manager before beginning his Ph.D. His research interests include supply chain design, sustainable practices, and decision-making using emerging technologies in last-mile deliveries. He is also part of grants received from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) for research on air mobility and distracted driving. He has co-authored a paper published in Transportation Research Part D and the Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing, and he has several other papers under review in reputed journals. He is also part of several grants received from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration). He has presented his research at various national and international conferences, such as the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), the Production and Operations Management Society (POMS), and the Decision Science Institute (DSI). He has previously taught purchasing and materials management and co-instructed business analytics and data science courses.
