Sidorova

Biography: 

Anna Sidorova is a Professor of Information Systems and the Chair of the Information Technology and Decision Sciences (ITDS) department at the G. Brint Ryan College of Business. Dr. Sidorova is active in research on AI ethics and governance and digital transformation. She teaches graduate courses in Artificial Intelligence in Business, Information System Development and Information Systems Theory and Research. Prior to stepping in as a Chair, she served as an Academic Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs at RCOB.

During her tenure at UNT, Dr. Sidorova has engaged in active research in the areas of business intelligence and analytics, text mining, business process management, IS implementation and use, and applications of AI and machine learning in business. Dr. Sidorova authored over twenty academic and practitioner-oriented journal articles and book chapters, with research featured in prestigious academic journals such as MIS Quarterly, Journal of Management Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, Information & Management and other. 

Prior to her work at UNT, Dr. Sidorova was a business consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she advised clients on issues related to business process improvement, business strategy and IT system selection. She also worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Albany, SUNY. Dr. Sidorova holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Masters of Business Administration and a Ph.D. in Information Systems from Washington State University.
