Jesse
Robertson

Biography: 

Dr. Jesse Robertson joined the UNT faculty in 2008 following the completion of his Ph.D. from the University of Alabama. He also holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from Morehead State University. He is a member of the American Accounting Association.

Dr. Robertson is a recipient of the G. Brint Ryan College of Business Teaching Innovation Award who currently teaches auditing at both the M.S. and undergraduate levels, and a behavioral accounting research seminar in the Ph.D. program. He has served on several doctoral dissertation committees, including three as co-chair and one as chair. 

Dr. Robertson's research interests include interactions between auditors and their clients, relationships between auditors and stakeholders of the audit process, and ethics. He has published in journals such as Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory, Behavioral Research in Accounting, the Journal of Accounting Literature, the Journal of Management Accounting Research, and the Journal of Business Ethics.

Dr. Robertson is married to Kelli, a speech pathologist. They have a daughter.
