Omar is a PhD student in Logistics & operations management department at G. Brint Ryan college of business. He has more than 17 years of experience in the construction industry in works related to building services, sustainability, projects management, supply chain & logistics systems, during which he built excellent reputation for providing quality & cost-effective services, resolving problems & improving customer satisfaction. He was awarded his MBA degree with distinction in Jan 2022 from The British University in Dubai (BUiD), his final research project at BUiD focused on “The Key Internal Factors Impacting Design Quality” in the MEP consultancy firm where he was working. In February 2005, he was awarded his BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Jordan University of Science & Technology (JUST).
Omar holds the following certifications & memberships:- 1) Social & Behavioral Research - Basic/Refresher Certification. 2) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. 3) Member of Projects Management Institute.4) Accredited Mechanical Engineer by Dubai Municipality. 5) Member of the Jordanian Engineers Association. 6) Member of the Society of Engineers - UAE.
His research interests are centered on the use of digital technologies in the supply chain and its impact on the supply chain as a whole and on organizations.
