Omar is a PhD student in Logistics & operations management department at G. Brint Ryan college of business. He has more than 17 years of experience in the construction industry in works related to building services, sustainability, projects management, supply chain & logistics systems, during which he built excellent reputation for providing quality & cost-effective services, resolving problems & improving customer satisfaction. He was awarded his MBA degree with distinction in Jan 2022 from The British University in Dubai (BUiD), his final research project at BUiD was focusing on “The Key Internal Factors Impacting Design Quality” in the MEP consultancy firm where he was working. In February 2005, he was awarded his BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jordan University of Science & Technology (JUST).
Omar holds the following certifications & memberships:- 1) Social & Behavioral Research - Basic/Refresher Certification. 2) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. 3) Member of Projects Management Institute.4) Accredited Mechanical Engineer by Dubai Municipality. 5) Member of Jordanian Engineers Association. 6) Member of Society of Engineers - UAE.
His research interests are about operational performance, sustainable practices, and the use of new technologies (Blockchain & Artificial Intelligence) in manufacturing & industrial firms in the context of supply chain & logistic systems.
