I am an Adjunct Faculty Member in the Department of Information Technology and Decision Sciences (ITDS) at the G. Brint Ryan College of Business, University of North Texas.

My academic journey began with a strong foundation in Industrial Engineering, earning both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in the field. Passionate about problem-solving and quantitative analysis, I pursued a Ph.D. in Operations Research from Southern Methodist University, which I successfully completed in 2019. My doctoral research focused on developing a data-driven framework for decision making under uncertainty. I have numerous publications in the fields of decision sciences, operations management and data mining (Google Scholar).

In addition to my academic pursuits, I have gained valuable industry experience as a Data Scientist in the banking sector. My work primarily revolves around leveraging advanced analytics techniques for risk assessment and predictive modeling. This practical experience has allowed me to bridge the gap between theory and real-world application, enriching my teaching approach and providing students with valuable insights into the ever-evolving field of data science and analytics.

I am committed to fostering a dynamic learning environment that encourages critical thinking and innovation. Through my academic and professional journey, I aim to inspire and equip the next generation of ITDS professionals with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in today's data-driven world.
