Q: How long will each presentation last?
A: It varies by session.

• Ph.D. Session: 15 minutes for the presenter, 10 minutes for the discussant, and 5 minutes for Q&A (30 minutes total for each paper).
• Concurrent Sessions 1-4: 15-20 minutes for the presenter and 5-10 minutes for Q&A (25 minutes total for each paper).
• Invited Senior Scholar Session: 1-hour workshop with Q&A throughout for each presenter.

Q: What if the registration link on the conference website does not allow me to register?
A: We are aware of potential glitch when using Google Chrome. It can be resolved by turning off the “Do Not Track” setting in Chrome under “Cookies and other site data” before attempting to register. You also can use a different browser or contact Becky.Andrews@unt.edu.

Q: Are there any hotels near the UNT campus?
A: Denton offers a choice of several hotels, with many more in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area. Hotels in Denton include Embassy Suites by Hilton Denton Convention Center, Best Western Premier Crown Chase Inn & Suites, and Holiday Inn Express & Suites.

Q: What is the nearest airport?
A: Attendees can get to the UNT campus from either DFW Airport or Love Field. Each is approximately 35 miles from the UNT campus. DFW Airport is located between Dallas and Ft. Worth; Love Field is located in Dallas.

Q: Will there be a shuttle bus to and from the airport?
A: No. Uber or Lyft will be your best bet.

Q: Any good restaurants for dinner on Thursday after the reception?
A: Plenty of good restaurants in Denton including Barley & Board, Hannah’s, 940’s Kitchen and Cocktails, Thai Square, and GreenHouse Restaurant. There’s also Houlihans attached to Embassy Suites in Denton.
